How we handle your information in the GFSC Portal Support chat

This portal chat is provided by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission ("GFSC", "we", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use and protect personal information you share when using our chat service.

Your name and email (if provided)
The content of messages you send and our replies
Any files you choose to attach
Technical data (browser type, IP address) for security and rate limiting

How we use your information

We use this information to respond to your queries, improve our service, and meet our regulatory obligations. Conversations may be reviewed by GFSC support staff. The AI assistant runs within Microsoft Azure UK South under our Microsoft 365 enterprise agreement.

Data retention

Chat transcripts are retained according to our retention policy. Backups are kept for up to 14 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].
